Tractor Stool by Craig Bassam for BassamFellows

Tractor Stool by Craig Bassam for BassamFellows is carved out of a massive block of sustainably and locally harvested walnut or ash.

The dynamic form of the Tractor Stool by Craig Bassam for BassamFellows evokes a warm, organic feel that symbolizes nature and invites interaction. The stool’s shape is directly influenced by the ergonomics of a Swiss tractor seat. Carved from solid wood using techniques applied to the making of shoe lasts, it is then hand-finished by expert cabinetmakers. Because of the natural variations of wood, every Tractor Stool is unique.

The stool is lightweight, elegant yet informal, and supremely comfortable. It is suitable for both residential or contract use. Can be used outdoors in teak. Covered terrace recommended. Construction of the Tractor Stools seating model includes solid carved ash, walnut or teak, oil finish CB-22 and CB-23 include black leather-wrapped footrest. Tractor Stool by Craig Bassam for BassamFellows designed in 2000/2001.
