The Piano House in Huainan City, China designed by Hefei University of Technology architectural students. The Piano House, a building in the shape of a grand piano which is accessible through a set of stairs inside a giant glass violin. The structure was designed by Hefei University of Technology architectural students in 2007 as a way to draw interest to the city.
The property is made up of a large glossy piano paired with a transparent violin leaning against the piano. The violin houses a multi level staircase constructed from steel, that matches many of the other accentual details of the property.
The building was constructed for music lovers, and serves a practice facility for musical student at the nearby college. The building also serves a double function, displaying various city plans in order to help promote tourism encouraging more people to visit the intriguing property.
